Long O Donnell are currently recruiting for a Graduate CAD Technician/office Administrator to join our team to provide support to our drawing and administration team within our Northampton office. Providing consistently high results time and time again, we are today supporting many major complex projects and programmes with our skills in commercial and contracts, design and engineering, project delivery and health, safety and environmental services. To be considered for this opportunity you will have previous experience working in drawing office environment /Administration. Specifically, you should have: Knowledge of using CAD programmes including 2D, 3D and Auto CAD Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where you will need to prioritise and re-prioritise work as required. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy when completing tasks. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work successfully within a team. A proactive approach to achieving goals and tasks. Within this role, your duties will include: Completing operational drawing appraisals against agreed specifications in an accurate and timely manner Undertake minor drawing modifications to the requirements of the client Maintain up to date knowledge of drawing specifications Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture/construction and installation Completing administration duties including filing, scanning and updating documentation, processing forms provided by the management team in a timely manner Complete cost reporting tasks Data inputting. Taking ownership of the office facilities on a day to day basis i.e. ensuring the office is kept tidy, fire alarm checks etc. Coordinating meetings as required.
