Night Support Worker (Care), Lancaster Langley House Trust has an opportunity for a Night Support Worker (Care) to join our team based in Lancaster on a permanent, full time basis working 36 hours a week. We are offering the successful candidate a competitive salary of £18,762 per annum (£10.02 per hour) plus pension and excellent benefits. As our Night Support Worker (Care) you will assist in the delivery of a stable and effective programme by the efficient delivery of the day-to-day service; within set budgets and to the agreed levels of quality as defined within the Langley House Trust Business Plan, Quality Assurance Strategy and Key Performance Indicators. You will also support Clients to achieve the outcomes laid out in their Care/Support Plan. To ensure that the security of the project and its surroundings is maintained. Responsibilities as our Night Support Worker (Care): - Key work and support clients generally within the project - Provide personal care as identified in care plans for individual clients - Take an active role in the assessment and management of risk - Regularly fully utilise the Trust ‘Client File’ with designated clients to ensure that they are supported and empowered - Provide support and guidance to other Support Workers and Key Workers - Ensure that all medication within the project is managed in line with Trust policy and procedures - Ensure that clients are able to participate as fully as possible in the life of the project - Manage client meetings and facilitate the Client Inclusion and Training representatives - Promote and support client involvement - Supervise and monitor the behaviour of clients, ensuring that clients comply with any statutory order tenancy or house rules and to report deviations to your line manager - Take an active part in team meetings - Assist in the management of the referral process - Ensure that both prospective and former clients are supported through visits and/or correspondence - Apply emergency First Aid response to clients and any other person in the building/grounds - Prepare a room for the arrival of a new client.
