Site Manager A quality regional house builder have an opportunity for a Site Manager for a new build housing development starting in Preston with 34 units. The Company The company have built an excellent reputation building quality homes for a wide range of buyers, they also pride themselves on building a quality home that suits the needs of their buyers offering exceptional customer service from pre-sale through to aftercare. The Role - Site Manager To establish and manage a site workforce capable of constructing the quality new homes in a safe and diligent manner, to the highest possible standard, on time and in line with predetermined cost. Duties and responsibilities include: ' To comply with the company's Build Policy and Procedures. ' Supervise and co-ordinate staff, Sub-Contractors, material suppliers and Utility providers to ensure an efficient method of build to the required build quality and build programme. ' Scheduling work to be carried out to ensure production targets are achieved and high quality of product is maintained. ' Ensure that production targets are met whilst producing the highest quality of product and ensuring costs are kept within budget. ' Effective daily use of appropriate company Information Systems and databases. ' Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organisation's goals and enhancing the reputation of the company. ' Liaise with Sales department and customers to ensure the highest possible Customer Care performance/ satisfaction and complete all relevant inspections and documentation. ' Direct liaison with Sales, Technical and Commercial departments ensuring that up to date records of all site activities are retained, thereby achieving cost/quality control; and report on the same to Contracts Managers/Construction Director. ' Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage staff to ensure staff are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company's needs. Site Manager - Skills & Experience ' Team Worker ' Good man-management skills ' Keen to broaden skills rather than getting on with own tasks ' Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel ' Ability to meet deadlines ' Trade background - ideally Joinery or Bricklaying ' Essential - CSCS card, First Aid, SMSTS ' Desirable - CIOB Site Management, Scaffold Appreciation, Crane Supervisor In return for your skills the company offer a competitive salary with an extensive benefits package including company car/car allowance, bonus scheme, pension, healthcare and the opportunity to work for a quality builder.
