Saf et y , Health , Environmental & Quality Ad v isor Support and advise department managers in the creation of risk assessments and method statements. Maintain and monitor areas of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems as requested. Provide support to the Compliance Manager with the collection and processing of KPI data including environmental performance. Assist with the management of the emergency procedures. Maintain first aid systems. Assist in the audit and review of all risk assessments/method statements for work carried out by the business. to include occasional work on-site. Monitor and assist in the audit of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety management systems. Deliver basic in house Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety training where appropriate based on established training material. Handle day to day quality, environmental and health & safety concerns and issues, escalating where required. Manage the administrative requirements of the accident/incident and near miss reporting system. Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents. Provide support to the company Health & Safety Committee. Carry out safety inspections in the business and customer premises and arrange/ complete the required actions. Provide support to the Facilities Team with regard to management of contractor health, safety and environmental paperwork.The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be expected to perform other tasks in support of the overall objectives of the organisation. Skills and Experience: Essential Practical experience of creating risk assessments & method statements. Full UK driving License Practical knowledge of conducting safety inspections of work areas. Organised with strong initiative, methodical and disciplined. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels. Able to work positively within a team. Good skills in Microsoft Office programs. Able to prioritise workload. A dynamic and positive approach to change. Experience of handling resistance to change with positivity and diplomacy. Ability to support and contribute to a positive safety culture. Desirable Experience in a specialist H&S/Environmental role. NEBOSH certificate /IOSH Technical Member. Have knowledge of H&S/environmental legislation. Have knowledge of safety, environmental and/or quality management systems. The ability to change approach when dealing with different personalities.
