Depending on the individual role and setting, a support worker may assist with daily support. The position will involve interacting with client on a daily basis, assisting with personal care and suporting with lessons and activities, meeting their nutritional need, as well as supporting with accessing the local community. Applicants must have some previous clinical experience (6 months minimum preferred) Full training is offered and on-going regular support. We offer competitive rates of pay starting from £9 per hour up to £12.00 following a successful completion of probationary. Enhancement pay for evening and weekend with mileage contribution for drivers. Many part-time opportunities are also available. Although care assistants may not need any specific qualifications, it is important that they pass a induction and a Criminal Records Bureau check.
