Care Support Worker
Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire is a charity providing respite support to carers and the people they care for throughout Kirklees, Wakefield, Calderdale and South Leeds. Working in the community we support carers by providing a weekly break. We support people of all ages including children and adults and with a variety of needs from Physical Disabilities through to Palliative and End of Life Care. We always encourage clients to remain as independent as possible and to engage in community activities wherever possible. Care Support Workers generally provide support at the same time each week providing continuity for the family which equally provides a regular rota for the Care Support Worker. Work could be support within the client’s home or supporting them to access community activities. Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire provide all staff with a thorough paid induction training process ensuring that all staff work to the high levels of quality that we expect as an organisation.
