Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.30

Our client is seeking an experienced HR professional to join their vibrant offices in Crawley, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the day to day business complies with Employment Law, staff follow all company procedures and recruitment needs are met. The ideal candidate will ideally be CIPD qualified to Level 5 - 7.

Job Responsibilities

* Handle employment relations issues such as employee welfare and conflicts

* Ensure that all potential employees have the right to work in the UK and any additional requirements of the post

* Maintain and update the in-house HR database

* Oversee the recruitment process, writing job descriptions, selecting and interviewing candidates

* Monitor staff attendance, absence and annual leave

* Administration of employment contracts, new starter packs and formal notices of termination

* Check references

* Lead new starter company inductions

* Effective and engaging presentation skills

* Oversee the training and development of employees

* Manage financial aspects including payroll, pension schemes, benefits and compensation

* Handle sensitive information with care, honesty and discretion

Relevant Skills and Attributes

* CIPD Qualified- Ideally Level 7

* HR Management experience

* Clear and concise communication at all levels

* Strong ability to multi-task, prioritise and organise

* Discreet, tactful and diplomatic manner

* Strong computer literacy and good administrative skills

* Excellent leadership skills, ability to manage employees

* Understanding of Employment Law and regulations

* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
