The Role

The successful candidate will be accountable for the day to day management of ongoing reforms to the CITB Grants Scheme, longer term strategy for the Grants Scheme and supporting the development and delivery of funding interventions both through the Grants Scheme and other funding routes. You will also be responsible for the production of forecasts of Grants Scheme spend for current and future years.

CITB is a social enterprise. We’re devoted to building competitive advantage for the construction industry by ensuring the sector has the right skills, in the right place, at the right time.

Using analytical skills to develop, and help colleagues to develop, strategies to improve the way CITB funding is used to support the Construction Industry. Using an ever evolving evidence base, as well as engagement with both internal and external stakeholders, to identify Grant and other funding opportunities to develop training and skills interventions in areas of need such as skills gaps and shortages.

You will be expected to oversee and work on multiple projects, so experience of being able to supervise and run numerous projects and well as prioritising workloads is highly desirable.

Demonstrable experience of delivering spending forecasts in complex and agile scenarios is essential.

You will be experienced in working as part of a team, but with the adaptability to work unsupervised for periods of time and deliver projects on time and to a high presentational quality, including contributing to the writing of Executive and Board papers.
