Contract: Part time – Maternity Cover

Salary: £13,627.89 (FTE £22,462)

Hours: 27 hours, 45 weeks per year (term time plus 1 week).

Mon- Thurs 9:00am – 14:30pm Friday 9:00- 14:00pm

The Role

Queen Katharine Academy are looking to appoint a Science Technician to support the Science department and teachers in delivering practical lessons to all key stages. This role will involve preparing equipment and resources to support student learning in Science lessons across the curriculum and ensuring maintenance of all equipment within the laboratory. Other responsibilities include managing the control of stock items and other department resources and maintaining local inventories and make regular equipment checks.
