We provide a high quality financial service to the College. The department consists of 14 staff, 4 of which focus significantly on the management account function. We aim to provide excellent customer service and offer prompt and high quality financial support to our internal and external stakeholders, whilst maintaining good controls and enforcing compliance with the College’s financial regulations.

You will have an important role within the department leading the management account section and shaping its role and direction. You will be responsible for the production of the monthly management accounts and associated reports to management and the board. You will prepare the college VAT returns and assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts and related schedules. You will also be expected to support some of the budget holders to understand and react to the financial information available to them, which will enable you to understand the college on a wider non-financial context. Additionally, you will be expected to support the maintenance of the college’s fixed asset register and processes as well as supporting and developing relevant features within the finance system.
