Contract: Part Time/Permanent

Site: Queen Katharine Academy

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 3.30pm, finish time varies. 39 weeks per annum (term time plus 2 weeks)

Salary: NJC Point 23 £23609.89 (FTE £26,999)

The Role

We are seeking to appoint a Student Support Officer to assist in the day-to-day monitoring of academic, social and pastoral progress of all students within a year group. The successful candidate will be required to carry out tasks, which include assisting in monitoring student progress, providing feedback to subject teachers, monitoring attendance and implementing strategies to improve this and maintaining student data/records accordingly.

The Person

You will

  • Have relevant experience of working in a secondary school.

  • Have Maths and English GCSE’s A* - C (or equivalent)

  • Have the ability to form strong relationships with students and colleagues across the Academy.

  • Have strong numeracy and literacy skills.
