B38 is a highly successful and fast-growing Facilities Management business. We are looking for a PPM Planner to join the team. Main function and scope for PPM Planner: Responsible for planning PPM tasks for internal engineers and external subcontractors, providing a professional and comprehensive service to all clients. Ensuring tasks are planned and completed within SLA whilst also being aware of cost implication considering engineers routes and skill set Day to day management of the engineers’ diary taking ownership to ensure engineers time is utilised effectively. Main duties for PPM Planner: Monthly planning of all maintenance tasks ensuring engineers and subcontractors complete tasks as directed within SLA Planning work efficiently ensuring travel is kept to a minimum and the correct engineer is deployed. Organising out of hours work with engineers and subcontractors including hire of access equipment when necessary and ensuring hotel accommodation is booked with the Accounts Team as required. Review of subcontractor reports and internal engineers progress notes for PPM visits. Recording and reporting on remedial actions, ensuring clients are notified of follow on work. Working effectively with the helpdesk and estimates team to process through remedial work to quotation/reactive works. Escalate potential unavailability work orders to the Operation Managers and Supervisors To be aware of all statutory compliance maintenance tasks and ensuring all PPM tasks are carried out by internal engineers and external subcontractors. Upon completion ensuring all tasks carry the relevant certificate and all remedial work is followed up on and easily traceable. Ensuring visits are booked in with clients ahead of engineers and subcontractors attendance. Completing any necessary paperwork and or permits on line as requested by the client. To assist with the mobilisation of new contracts, inputting PPM tasks into the system in line with customer requirements and raising purchase orders as requested. Organisation of regular planning meetings with the operational management team to highlight and discuss any planning issues. Looking at the plan for the week/month ahead reviewing engineers’ workload to keep non-productive time to a minimum. To provide management reporting information on unproductive time/drive time and provide details on unproductive time. You will be required to hit the ground running as this is a very varied and fast paced role. The candidate must be able to multi task and prioritise their own workload. We require at least 2 years previous experience in a similar planning role, preferably in the FM industry and you must have a good understanding of statutory maintenance.
