LOCATION: Milnthorpe, Lancaster (commutable from Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal and surrounding areas)

JOB TITLE: Customer Service Assistant / Member Services

SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary dependent on experience plus benefits

WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Today, they employ over 600 people in 35 countries and create resources that are distributed to more than 150 countries around the world and are now seeking a new Customer Service Assistant / Member Services to join their office in Milnthorpe, Lancaster (commutable from Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal and surrounding areas) where you will be assisting with customer service enquiries associated with the companies global mailing list.

As a Customer Service Assistant / Member Services you will be joining the Members Service team which handles any enquires related to the Daily Bread mailing list and newsletters. You could be dealing with calls and emails from existing customers and also new customers looking to join the mailing list. In addition to being a Customer Service / Public facing role you will be required to carry out a rage of admin support duties such as handling incoming post, preparing banking, and updating Excel spreadsheets and customer service database.

THE CANDIDATE: As a Christian Ministry Regulation 7 of the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) regulations will apply and successful candidate for the Customer Service Assistant / Member Services role will need to be a Christian but from any denomination. In addition it is essential candidates have experience in a Customer Service / Admin role, have a clear and polite spoken manner and will have good IT skills with previous use of Microsoft Excel. Candidates will ideally be Drivers with access to their own vehicle, or must live within easy commutable distance to Milnthorpe, Lancaster commutable from Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal and surrounding areas).

Key Experience / Characteristics preferred for the Customer Service Assistant / Member Services role :-

- Must have previous Customer Service and Admin experience
- Good IT skills with previous use of Microsoft Office packages
- Clear and polite telephone manner and good communication skills
- As a Christian Ministry Regulation 7 of the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) regulations will apply
- Must live within commutable distance to Milnthorpe, Lancaster
