THE COMPANY: A well established Halifax business who have experienced growth organically and through acquisitions. In this role you will be a key part of the accounts team with the main focus being on purchase ledger and sales ledger processing. The business is commutable from Halifax, Bradford, Elland, Huddersfield, Keighley and Hebden Bridge. THE JOB: This is a key role in the team for someone with previous experience in Sales and Purchase Ledger. You will be responsible for the full process on the Purchase Ledger from coding the invoices, chasing queries and preparing payment runs. On the Sales Ledger side you will be responsible for invoicing and cash allocation, Credit Control is not a part of this role. You will also be required to do cashbook and journal work. This is a great opportunity for experienced Accounts Assistants and also eager Purchase and Sales lLedger clerks who are keen to further their exposure in accounts.
