The Role – Clinical Field Applications Specialist, Microbiology & Histology (Biomedical Scientist) Following expansion, they seek to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Clinical Applications Specialist , responsible for product training, product demonstrations, technical support and pre and post sales activities. You will support systems across histology and microbiology applications, utilised within pathology departments and NHS laboratories. The successful applicant will support haematology, immuno-diagnostics, and blood diagnostics products located at customer sites throughout the South East, East Anglia and the South Midlands Your Background - Clinical Field Applications Specialist, Microbiology & Histology (Biomedical Scientist) To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate a competent background in a pathology laboratory device support role. You might be an experienced Biomedical Scientist seeking a more exciting customer facing role, or an existing Application Specialist / Technical Trainer seeking further training and the opportunity to move into a part technical support / product support role. Applications are encouraged from Biomedical Scientists or Pathology Professionals with a broad range of laboratory device backgrounds, including Histology, Microbiology and Immunodiagnostics. A qualification in engineering, electronics or a science based subject is also essential, to a minimum of HNC level.
