Job Description Health Grade & Salary:- Band 6: £30,401 - £38,046 per annum Health Hours: 37.5 hours per week GCC Grade & Salary:- BS4, Grade 7: £34,842.86 - £40,977.98 per annum GCC:- 35 hours per week An exciting employment opportunity has arisen within the Business Development Team of the Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP). Directly reporting to the Principal Officer (Business Development) and as part of a team, this is a key post that supports communications and engagement (including event organisation) for the GCHSCP and provides project support to the delivery of projects, initiatives and business process improvements. It is essential that the successful candidate has a relevant degree or equivalent experience in communications or a similar business support function and experience of project support. The post will involve working collaboratively in a team environment, and supporting internal and external customers to deliver business needs. This requires the candidate to prioritise their work and meet tight deadlines, whilst being flexible and adaptable. Excellent communication skills (written and oral), knowledge of communications and engagement methods/channels and awareness of project management methodologies are essential. The successful candidate will display the competencies related to the post. The GCHSCP is a partnership between Glasgow City Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde for health and social care services in Glasgow. Business Development has an overarching business support role across a number of back-office functions to support the GCHSCP to meet its statutory requirements and business needs.
