We are looking for a Registered Manager who is committed to provide high quality, person centred care and a 'home from home' for our residents. Northlands Care Home is a dual registered home of 35 beds providing nursing and residential care to older people in Northumberland. Northlands is part of Parkside Care which is a small family owned care home operator based in the North East of England. Our homes are all small, unique and full of character where we treat everyone like part of the family. We want someone to join the Northlands family to lead and inspire a small and dedicated staff team to provide the best possible care for the people who live with us. ABOUT THE ROLE: Location: A quiet residential area near the centre of Morpeth, Northumberland Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the day to day running of the home and ensuring we are delivering high quality, person centred care. As a small organisation the Company Directors will provide hands on support and guidance and know all the staff and residents by name. The successful candidate will lead the staff team and ensure the home is operating in compliance with the Health and Social Care regulations and Council requirements. ABOUT YOU: As a smaller home with a lot of head office support this role may suit someone with experience in adult Health and Social Care who is looking for their first move into a Registered Manager position. Experience of working in health and social care at a senior level Level 5 management in health and social care or similar experience A dynamic individual with strong drive to provide excellent care Good knowledge of CQC regulations Experience of leading and supporting other people Nursing qualification or nursing care experience an advantage Satisfactory DBS check and references BENEFITS : Competitive Salary commensurate with experience.
