The company is a Yorkshire based Marketing Consultancy offering outsourced Marketing support to a range of professional services and B2B clients. To sustain increased demand, we’re now looking to attract an individual with a keen interest in Marketing Communications, placing a primary focus on Digital media including Email, Website Management, Social Media, Blogging and other relevant channels. This exciting role will be of interest to candidates who have experience of implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns, creating tailored messages and copy, whilst maximising exposure of content within defined target markets. You’ll enjoy writing and have a good understanding of the marketing concept, whilst an interest in technology would also be advantageous. Based in Wakefield, this person will provide marketing support to three clients in this area, requiring you to be proactive and self-motivated by nature. Using both online/digital and offline marketing channels, the ability to fulfil multiple campaigns at any one time to an agreed schedule is essential, as well as having excellent attention to detail. We’re looking for a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a previous B2B marketing role within a professional environment, where specific knowledge of the IT, Technology, Legal or Education sectors would be of particular interest, although not essential. It’s also important that you’d enjoy working in a client-led environment. This role will suit an individual who is looking for the chance to take their marketing career to the next level and would like the opportunity to progress. Key marketing skills required: • Content/Copy creation which can be adapted to specific marketing channels • Experience of using online/digital and offline media • Managing social media campaigns, stimulating engagement and building networks • Website content creation and management through Wordpress • Writing press releases and distribution across regional, business and trade press • Creating and implementing effective e-mail marketing campaigns • Developing content for case studies, promotional literature and brochures • Designing and creating content for direct marketing campaigns • Working alongside sales to optimise lead generation Key experience required: • Marketing communications within a B2B environment • Managing client brands and consistently upholding brand guidelines at all times • Implementing numerous marketing campaigns simultaneously • Strong organisational, communication and project management skills • Prioritising workload in accordance with client needs and deadlines • Creating and distributing quality and impactful content • Working with creative/design teams to produce credible marketing collateral • A marketing qualification would be advantageous, particularly from the CIM You will be required to work 4 days per week with a degree of flexibility in how these days are fulfilled.
