Sheltered Wellbeing Assistant (Temporary) Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire £9.20 Per Hour Our client, an established sheltered housing provider located in Stratford-Upon-Avon, is currently looking to recruit a Sheltered Wellbeing Assistant to work on a temporary - ongoing basis. Working Monday - Friday, 36.25 hours per week, this role will be paying a rate of £9.20 per hour. The successful candidate will work under the general direction of the Scheme Manager to provide a range of services to customers within sheltered housing and the wider community with the aim of enhancing the wellbeing and independence of older persons. Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that the successful candidate drives and has access to their own transport. A DBS will also be required. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in contacting residents where necessary on an agreed basis to discuss and agree actions to improve well being Identify and report to the relevant department, and as soon as possible, any communal repairs or H&S issues at the scheme Manage the Warden Call system and any telephone messages and personal callers at the scheme To provide assistance with laundering linen if necessary resulting from the use of the guest room and communal areas and the collection of guest room monies Maintain/update regularly all customers wellbeing and housing related records work (including support plans where applicable). Encourage and assist customers with organising social activities Provide information/signposting to customers of any new or existing relevant services and partnerships (internal and external) and keeping support information up to date; develop good relationships with the key external services and partnerships Person Specification Have access to own transport, due to the requirements of the role Able to demonstrate effective organisational skills Basic understanding of office procedures, including ability to use ICT systems Ability to create networks and relationships with external organisations and involve them in the support provided to customers About Morgan Jones: Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
