Marketing Insights Manager
The Royal Armouries cares for one of the world’s oldest museum collections in the world, which continues to grow in new and exciting ways today. The Marketing Insights Officer’s role is to help bring this national and world-famous collection of arms and armour to a wider, and more engaged audience through targeted, data-driven marketing and communications activity. The post-holder will be based in Leeds and will work across all three of the museum’s sites which are our flagship museum in Leeds, at our historic home in the Tower of London, and at the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire.
We are looking for a skilled and analytical marketing professional to play a key role within our Marketing and Communications Team. This post is being created to deliver market research, analysis and insight to help guide the museum’s marketing activities. The Marketing Insights Officer will develop data-driven insights to guide and support the museum’s marketing activities, integrating marketing audience development activity.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about market research and is experienced in drawing insights from data and is able to communicate findings to a range of stakeholders.
We are looking for a flexible, analytical, technically accomplished market research professional with extensive experience in utilizing CRMs and excellent data analysis skills. You will have a strong understanding of audiences and know how to extrapolate data from multiple sources, in order to support the development marketing plans according to the separate needs of each. You will have a track record of delivering a data-driven approach to marketing development and programming, developing database segmentation tools and reports, and managing market research projects.
You will have experience of working flexibly with and within multi-disciplinary teams, and with partners including market research agencies, CRM providers, and external stakeholders. You will be used to analyzing marketing research, as well as having the creative tools of the trade to contribute towards delivering campaigns based on the outcomes of market research, including written communications, copywriting, visual and broadcast communications to successful delivery.
Based in Royal Armouries Leeds, This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. Weekend and bank holiday working maybe required.
