About the Role
We are looking for a qualified accountant to manage and drive the delivery and improvement of Financial Systems at the Combined Authority. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills who can combine technical precision with strategic insight to act as the lead for all of the Combined Authority's financial systems including Unit 4's Business World (Agresso). You will also be required to design and deliver relevant training programmes to ensure that the needs of our growing business are met and to enable us to deliver our exciting agenda.

The successful applicant will have significant knowledge and experience of financial systems and control processes in a large complex organisation as well as experience of working with key stakeholders to ensure they have the tools required to deliver their objectives. Knowledge of Business Process Engineering is also crucial to this role.
