We are looking to recruit outstanding individuals who have the ability to thrive in the fast paced environment of HR, working with a variety of clients from maintained schools to multi-academy trusts.

This role will be suited to qualified, high calibre and adaptable individuals who are looking to develop their career further as a HR Partner within our high profile organisation. Ideal candidates will work flexibly across the school year, have excellent communication skills, and be responsive to the needs of our clients. There will be travel involved in this role and the ability to travel independently is important.

Our HR Partners deliver quality high level support, advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of HR casework; including sickness absence management, discipline, grievance and other employee relations issues in accordance with policies and procedures.The rolewill cover a broad range of duties including advice on staffing issues, pay and performance management, recruitment, policies & procedures, TUPE and Union negotiations.

We will support you with the ability to work from home, although office facilities are available in Newton Aycliffe.

The applicant will have:

  • Be CIPD qualified
  • Have significant experience as a HR generalist
  • Have demonstrable experience in managing performance, absence, TUPE, staffing restructure and providing general HR advice
