At Brooke Weston Trust we are proud to educate over 7000 children and young people. We employ over 1000 members of staff, teaching and support, to deliver an excellent quality service to the students in our care. As a Trust we recognise that our staff are a vital asset within our organisation and, as part of our commitment to establishing ourselves as the employer of choice in our local area, we are pleased to be advertising this exciting new opportunity.

The HR Manager role is a new role being introduced into the Trust covering a range of activities, such as the provision of HR advice, support and guidance to colleagues, development and refinement of HR policies and practices within our schools according to legislative requirements and best practice, and the development and implementation of a recruitment and retention strategy. Another key element of this role is a focus on promoting positive employee relations through the use of staff benefits and advocating the core values of the Trust.

Key to success will be an ability to build effective relationships and communicate clearly and confidently at all levels. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for the role, as well as the ability to be discrete, tactful and confidential. We are seeking a candidate who has significant relevant experience in this field. We also require them to have an absolute commitment to continue developing their knowledge and skills, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest guidance and best practice relevant to HR, recruitment and retention in the education sector.

You would be based at the Trust’s central team office at Corby Technical School but frequent travel to work across our family of academies will be essential.
