Customer Service Coordinator

LOCATION: Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire

SALARY & BENEFITS: £20,000 per annum - The Company offers great prospects for the right calibre person. The remuneration package also includes 5.6 weeks’ holiday, pension and health schemes.

WORKING HOURS: 8.30am to 5.00pm

THE COMPANY: Our client is a dynamic and fast moving national distribution company supplying the kitchen industry with the highest quality products. 
THE ROLE: They are looking for a Customer Services Coordinator to join their busy Newport Pagnell Head Office.
Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service Coordinator to include:-

• Answering of incoming telephone calls in a professional manner for customers wishing to place new sales orders and processing of this order requirement whilst the customer is on the phone
• Answering of incoming telephone calls in a professional manner for customers requesting a quotation for products and processing of this quotation whilst the customer is on the phone
• Processing faxed/emailed orders accurately and efficiently
• Processing of all orders received via the external web sites ensuring that these are accurately imported into the business system. 
• In every instance, maximise all sales opportunities by offering alternatives for out of stocks, upgrade stock and sell extras where possible
• Ensure all orders are processed prior to the daily cut off time
• Liaising with the customer at the time of processing their order where:
• Stock fulfilment cannot be achieved due to supplier lead times
• There are order discrepancies
• There are delivery date queries
• It is possible to consolidate other existing orders onto one delivery date

In all the above circumstances updating the customer notepad is imperative

• To ensure that all Company rules, regulations and guidelines are enforced at all times
• Liaise with the Team Leaders/Sales Office Manager on any concerns/issues

This position will also involve other adhoc computer and administration duties. Full product training will be given.

• Must be computer literate
