EN:Able Futures CIC are offering a fantastic opportunity to start an apprenticeship as a Groundworker working in partnership with Breheny Civil Engineering. Breheny  is one of the largest family owned civil engineering companies in the UK, they are experts in highways and bridges, rivers and marine, utilities and energy, rail, and environmental sectors.

Typically, the Groundworker clears the site, lays a foundation, installs drainage and other pipework and  build roads if necessary.

The key elements of the role are:

  • Installing drainage
  • Concreting the proposed site
  • Laying kerbs and flagstones
  • Be actively involved in the learning, personal development and apprenticeship training
  • To assist and carry out project defined general construction work to a high standard as directed
  • Maintain and care for all company tools
  • Wear appropriate clothing and PPE specific to tasks

Wage

£173 per week (This is made up of the National Apprenticeship Wage + a £17 weekly travel allowance) / 40 Hours per Week
