Receptionist / General Administrator

Term time plus 5 days, 37 hours per week
Monday – Thursday (8.30am – 4.30pm & Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm)

Scale 3, Points 5 – 6
Actual starting salary: £16,145

Cathedral Academy formally joined Trinity Multi-Academy Trust in March 2018. The academy has a new leadership team in place, who have embedded robust, clear systems and support to ensure that teachers can focus on developing their teaching. This has had a significant impact over the last two years with the academy achieving its strongest results last year, placing them in the top 10% nationally for progress for the second year running!

We are now seeking to appoint a Receptionist / General Administrator to join our friendly team. You will be responsible for providing a professional, efficient and effective reception service for visitors to Cathedral Academy as well as delivering high quality administrative/clerical service for teaching colleagues and associate staff.

What are we looking for?

Excellent administration and communication skills are essential, as is flexibility and the ability to prioritise. You must be able to provide high quality customer service, maintain accurate records and have experience of managing databases. You will be working within a forward-thinking team that includes senior school leaders and educationalists and you will be fully committed to improving education standards.
