IT Helpdesk Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen within our organisation based in Peterborough. The organisation requires a Windows Infrastructure Support Engineer to join its thriving operation during a period of sustained and extended growth. Evolve Technologies Group Limited is an established IT consultancy based in Peterborough. Focusing on tailored solutions for the Small to Medium Business market, our primary skill base includes the design, sales and support of server based networks utilising Windows Server 2016.
You will be responsible for providing technical support across the organisations customer networks, servers, email, database and network security systems within a Windows Server 2012,2016 and 2019, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Hyper V and VMware technical environment.
• Fielding IT support queries from the users on-site and remotely
• Logging the call details into a helpdesk system
• Working on support queries to resolution
• Working on new customer projects
• Communicating with end users ensuring customers are kept informed
• Prioritising workload
You will ideally have experience as a 1st and 2nd Infrastructure Support Engineer position, providing support across Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Hyper-V environments. Previous experience within an outsourced environment would be a distinct advantage, as would a knowledge of Citrix, SQL and Web Services
