Post Title:  Insight and Impact Officer

Role Status: Full time (35 hours), 2 year fixed term

Organisational Base: Office Base – EFL House, Preston.

Reporting To: Business Manager

Salary: £27,000 to £30,000

EFL Trust is looking to recruit a talented Insight and Impact officer to join the largest sports charity network in the Country.  Our vision is to build stronger, healthier and more active communities through the work we and the 72 EFL Club Community Organisations carry out.

The EFL Trust is the official charity of the EFL and uses the power of sport to improve lives and make a positive contribution to 72 communities across the country across our key themes of sport, education and employability, community engagement and health. Formed in 1888 by its twelve founder members, the EFL (English Football League) is the world's original league football competition and is the template for leagues the world over.

This is an exciting time to join the Trust. We are a rapidly growing charity who need an Insight and Impact professional to play a vital role in developing a robust information culture.  The role is brand new and will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to join an experienced and committed business team and create important insight that can inform service improvements and support key business decisions.

The candidate will be positive and self motivated with the ability to work collaboratively and have experience which allows them to develop new process and systems which enhance the data and analytics of the Trust.   A high level of of detail and the ability to work with complex data sets is an essential requirement as is a minimum of 2 years research experience in a similar field.

The role may involve travel as well as occasional evening and weekend working including some overnight stays.
