Contract Type: Permanent The Role: ·To maintain accurate internal stock records to support other departments in achieving service level agreements for customers and minimising costs. ·Implement and maintain accurate internal stock records by checking locations on a rolling basis ·Implement improvement processes ensuring accurate inventory to minimise shipping costs. ·Produce and maintain accurate procedures for all main inventory control processes and functions. ·Perform cyclical stock checks ensuring integrity and accuracy and take responsibility for planning these. ·Check and adjust warehouse information on company database. ·Produce management reporting to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and manage the control measures to ensure any discrepancies are addressed and resolved. ·Monitor and evaluate consumables usage and advise on replenishment. ·Ensure that stock checks of engineers and external stores are carried out in line with business needs. ·Identify and report stock shortages and liaise accordingly with relevant departments. ·Deal with any stock based queries and carry out asset tracking.
