To implement group training across multi-sites and multi-brands.Delivering training to a 24 hour logistics operation will include working across all shift patterns, ensuring that all colleagues have sufficient training in all operational tasks, which include:- Induction Manual handling MHE training and licensing MHE maintenance SWP & Risk Assessment New equipment, new task assessment Refresher training scheduling and implementation Training matrix and file update To develop and expedite training program for Logistics colleagues including all MHE training, ensuring Legal and H&S Compliance Ensure MHE fleet maintenance and service plans are strictly adhered to and comply with legislation, liaising with third party contractors regarding repairs and costs. · Review and update SWP’s & Risk Assessment Bi-annually Ensure all colleagues receive Company Induction · Ensure all colleagues receive manual handling training and review in line with Company policy · Ensure all fire marshals receive fire evacuation and extinguisher training To monitor and maintain refresher training program on all tasks, including MHE, Licensing, manual handling, and all associated logistics tasks To liaise with logistics managers with regard to individual training requirements Responsibility for ensuring that Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times To undertake miscellaneous project work as required by the Logistics Director/Operations Manager To carry out stop and search daily checks as required Ensuring logistics is complaint with House Keeping Charter Role will involve some travel between depots and all group logistics depots Ideally trained in:- Train the Trainer qualification Fork Lift Truck & Manual Handling - RTITB accredited MHE licence training at all level IOSH – Risk Assessment and SWP Health & Safety knowledge Well developed people management skills Strong communicator Planning and organisational skills This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/86482048
