Looking for an SC cleared Business Architect for a client based in London

1. Ensure that the business operating model is defined, agreed and maintained, including standard business processes integral to the solution, policy, interfacing, technology, data quality, regulatory compliance, performance, people and organisation

2. Develop and maintain an approach, standards, processes, configuration and other relevant documentation required to effectively manage operating model design deliverables and expectations consistent with business requirements

3. Contribute to Programme change processes through the analysis and challenge of business change requests and business cases, to ensure consistency of design

4. Support the management of risks and issues associated with design change and potential impact upon the Programme

5. Build an ongoing relationship with other relevant national Programmes, projects and change initiatives, establishing agreed processes and procedures for the identification and management of cross Programme and project design dependencies, supporting a common approach to business design changes

6. Participate in supporting the management of a complex landscape of stakeholders to ensure that effective input and decisions can be appropriately taken in relation to the design

7. Work with technical and business teams to evaluate relevant new and emerging capabilities, technologies, vendors and business models to ensure operating model design conformance

8. Ensure solutions developed across the Programme are aligned to enterprise (or other agreed) architecture standards and principles

9. Ensure the management of design documentation is undertaken across the Programme, including providing overall clarity of requirements and design arteacts (necessity and prioritisation), progress of requirement elaboration and design artefact delivery and traceability

10. Review project documentation as requested to ensure it meets standard, is appropriately integrated, and fulfills the operating model and process strategy of the Programme and wider Network

11. Apply and utilise design standards to ensure the operating model is defined in a way that can be recreated and used as a knowledge resource to directly support Programme and project initiatives and executive decision making

12. Establish, manage and maintain any required Programme and/or business meetings and workshops to support consultation and input in the development and agreement of the business model

Act as a subject matter expert in the development of business architecture framework development and design and methodology development

Establish, manage and maintain a design QA approach and process, to ensure design outcomes are fit for purpose and assured

Manage the Programme Design Authority to drive effective design decision making, including the prioritisation of meetings, decision making and the effective management of outcomes/decisions

Evaluate and present information that will facilitate effective and timely decision-making through written and oral communication materials that effectively summarise business design related recommendations

Conduct reviews and analysis of Programme stakeholder needs and goals for the development and implementation of the operating model

Work with the technical architecture team in developing an integrated business solution for the Programme that aligns with the business operating model

Support analysis to determine and recommend approaches for solving the Programme s business issues and opportunities through process improvement, systems enhancement, business change and/or user training

Support the Business Design Lead, Technical Design Lead and broader design team to provide that all elements of design align to the Target Operating Model and business outcomes; ie provide that we are building the right things

Conduct 'horizon scanning' on behalf of the Programme to identify relevant future business and change initiatives and determine impacts and recommendations for operating model design

Provide architectural and business analysts standards and oversight of projects, ensuring requirements and designs are in alignment with the business operating model and architecture framework

Ensure the successful transition of the operating model design and design artefacts to business as usual architecture and design functions

Represent the Programme from a design perspective as required at Programme meetings, Boards and other relevant stakeholder events
