We are looking to appoint a SEND Funding Officer to effectively manage the Additional Learning Support (ALS) budget to ensure that claims are maximised, costs are reconciled and evidence supports claims in preparation for audit.

The successful candidate must be qualified to Level 3 in a relevant discipline, have working knowledge of financial accounts and the ability to maintain accurate financial records. Recent working experience of ALS funding would be an advantage as would knowledge of Further Education (FE) funding methodology and Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs) cost matrices. Finally the successful candidate needs to have experience of working to audit requirements, the ability to work with Local Authorities and sub-contracting partners.
