Location Stamford, Lincolnshire
Hours 37 hours a week, all year round, to be worked according to a 2 week rota (Monday – Friday), including some early starts from 7.00 am.
Contract type Up to 1 year fixed term maternity cover
Salary Point 12, £17,900 per annum

We are looking to appoint a Student Financial Welfare Advisor to be part of a front-line support team providing a friendly and efficient information and support service to students and customers of the College. You will take responsibility for the co-ordinator and administration of the College’s financial support funds for 16-18 and 19+ to ensure all students are given equal opportunity to participate in their study programme. You will also be responsible for the student elements of home to College travel.

The successful candidate must be qualified to Level 2 in a relevant subject, including English and maths; they must have experience of dealing with financial support in FE, working with teenagers or young adults and dealing with difficult situations. Finally, the successful candidate must have knowledge of government financial support guidelines, College financial support policies and financial support income opportunities within FE.
