Stephenson (MK) Trust provides education for students aged between 11 and 16 years who are either attending Stephenson Academy local SEN provision for students with social emotional and mental health needs, or Bridge Academy for students disengaged from mainstream education throughout Milton Keynes. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality curriculum, truly individualised to meet the needs of our students, ensuring successful outcomes for all. They are now looking for an excellent candidate for this role. 

They are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join their team. You will provide excellent financial services to assist and support the Finance Manager with the effective running of the Academy and cross Trust accounts. You will be responsible for financial planning and policy, payroll, accounting systems, fixed assets, purchasing/sales, cash income / management as well as some other financial responsibilities. 

Essential qualities: 
• Experience of financial procedures within an organisation 
• Knowledge of financial systems/purchase ledger management control 
• Computer literate
• AAT Qualified or equivalent
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
• A-Level qualified (Level 3) or equivalent

Salary: £23,473 - £29,275 FTE, actual salary £21,035 - £26,234

Location: Milton Keynes 

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 41 weeks (TTO +2 weeks to be worked across Easter & Summer Holidays)
