JOB TITLE: Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive 
SALARY & BENEFITS: £22,000 to £25,000 per annum plus generous bonus scheme, company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm – may require occasional flexibility to meet client needs 

THE COMPANY & THE ROLE: Are you a self motivated and dynamic individual with sales experience who can build effective working relationships and generate leads?

Our client have been at the forefront of the glasshouse construction industry in the UK and Ireland since 1985 supplying and equipping commercial greenhouses to Growers, Garden Centres and Research Institutions throughout the UK. Due to their continued growth, they now seek an individual with experience in sales to join their existing field sales team. 

As a Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive you will be required to manage your own diary and will be required to identify potential new business clients within the horticulture and vertical farming industry, and will be proactive in building an open dialogue with new businesses. You would then work with and liaise with Project and Contract Managers who will provide quotes and details on the project, your role will be to be an ambassador for the brand and as such will be helping to identify those initial leads. 

This is great opportunity for someone who is proactive in generating leads but for someone who can also take a relaxed and “fact finding” approach to sales and client relationship building. The Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive role is a wide and varied role which will largely consist of

Generate new leads by visiting customers at their premises
Generate new leads and service existing clients via telephone calls
Monitor client satisfaction with their products
Sales administration
Help create sales and marketing strategies to help create business opportunities
Assist with the company’s social media feeds

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive role will ideally have previous experience in Sales, Business Development or in lead generation, and will need to be a dynamic and motivated person who is reliable and can work unsupervised whilst planning their own day. Candidates will also need to hold a valid UK Driving Licence, will need to have good IT skills and have used Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel as well as a good understanding good social media platforms, and will need to live within commutable distance to Chichester, West Sussex.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive role in Chichester, West Sussex :-

Previous Sales or Business Development is preferred
Will need to be able to generate leads but also take a relaxed approach and build good working relationships 
Good IT Skills and use of Microsoft Office packages essential 
Must have a valid UK Driving Licence and live within commutable distance to Chichester , West Sussex
