Covering Northern Ireland, we are looking for a field-based Compliance Officer to provide risk assurance to our business through undertaking compliance monitoring and investigation activities and ultimately help to deliver the compliance monitoring plan.

Key responsibilities of our Compliance Officer
As Compliance Officer you will play a key role in the enhancing and developing the compliance culture within our business, building strong and influential working relationships with stakeholders at all levels and providing risk assurance advice. The role is diverse and fundamental in driving improvements and making a difference to the overall performance of our company.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Undertake compliance monitoring activities via field/ desk based activities
- Complete Financial Crime, and Incident Management investigations and assist stakeholders such as Operations and HR with conduct risk investigations
- Accompany field teams as they go about their business to assess compliance & competency with policy/procedure and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare data for visits and compile factual investigatory reports.
- Recommend changes to approach and areas of review as business processes
- Recommend and agree local/business mitigation plans.
What we are looking for in our Compliance Officer
You will be passionate, motivated and proactive, have excellent interpersonal, communication, critical thinking and analytical skills, with previous experience of compliance monitoring activities gained within a regulated environment. We’re interested in hearing from candidates with:
- knowledge of the FCA requirements and regulatory framework
- knowledge of fraud prevention/ detection techniques and /or experience of operational fraud investigations
- previous experience of 1st line assurance activities.
You will need to have the facility to work from home and be comfortable with frequent travel.
