LOCATION: Hastings, East Sussex
SALARY & BENEFITS: £17,000 - £20,000 per annum pro rata - This is a part time position (16-20 hours per week) but full time will be considered
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday – Friday 36.25 hours per week
THE ROLE: An opportunity has arisen to join our payroll team based in our Hastings office, working within payroll team to process clients’ payrolls and provide peer review
Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Processor to include:-
Process clients payrolls using Sagepay software
To liaise with clients to facilitate efficient receipt and provision of data
Assist with year-end processing and reconciliations
Dealing with queries from client employers and their employees
Maintain high levels of confidentiality required
To provide peer review of payrolls processed by colleagues as part of quality control
To maintain knowledge of PAYE procedures, Real Time Information and Auto Enrolment
Actively promote activities of the Practice
Promote best practice
Contribute to the success of the Payroll Department
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will have at least 2 years relevant experience alongside strong communication and IT skills.
Key experience essential for the Payroll Processor based in Hastings:
Will live within a commutable distance of Hastings
Will have previous experience working in an office
Previous experience working in a finance background is desirable
