About the role We have an opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join our Real Estate Transactions team in Edinburgh. The role is to provide a high-quality and efficient secretarial service to the Real Estate Transactions team. Reporting directly to the Secretarial Services Manager, tasks will include, but are not limited to: - Diary and email management - Booking meeting rooms - Travel arrangements - Handling telephone enquiries as and when required - Printing, scanning and preparing engrossments - Digital dictation as required - Processing fee-earner expenses on Chrome River in a timely manner - Assisting with monthly billing and other financial tasks - Other ad hoc duties to include dealing with incoming/outgoing post and general day to day management of a small office. This role is fixed-term covering maternity for 6 months. About you You will need to be adaptable to change, have the ability to work on your own initiative, demonstrating high levels of client care, organisational and time management skills. You will ideally have gained real estate experience within a law firm or have previous experience as a Legal Secretary with high levels of IT literacy, superb attention to detail and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
