Overview: Amazing opportunity for a creative, adaptable Marketing Manager to join an established, leading retail design/brand/digital/experiential agency based in Leicester. The company has a 40 year history and has partnered with a plethora of leading brands, creating amazing retail, brand and digital experiences for the brands to engage with their customers. Nothing is unimaginable or out of the question and they are leaders in creating concepts, which redefine the way that consumers engage with retail experience. With 80 employees over two UK offices, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering the marketing strategy, in line with agency objectives, elevating the agency brand on a global level by bringing to life through communications, the agencies positioning of being able to design and deliver anything for their clients. The role: Based out of the office in Leicester, the Marketing Manager will have a hands on role. Daily, you will be creating content that makes a big splash. From inspirational stores, thought leadership pieces and press releases, to new business campaigns award entries and social media posts - and so much more. You will identify and pursue Marketing opportunities that will elevate the positioning and influence within the design industry and beyond. This role will also be the first point of contact for any PR enquiries and responsible for all media relationships - building on longstanding ones and establishing new connections that will strengthen the agency reputation and positioning. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for: Create and pitch stories for key project launches, tapping into Global trends to gain media cut through and position the agency as leaders in creativity; Create and pitch inspiring stories/thought leadership (outside of project launches) that elevate the brand; Be responsible for all media relationships on a Global level. Build on existing relationships and continuously seek out new ones that will drive advocacy for the brand; Manage incoming PR requests, working with the relevant people internally to respond and drafting interview responses, viewpoints etc; Build genuine, effective relationships with clients that enable a more collaborate process. Effectively track coverage to drive continuous improvements; Write and create marketing content that drives new business and brand awareness, working alongside the New Business and creative teams to implement and distribute; Create bespoke credentials and RFP responses for new business opportunities/pitches that demonstrate our relevant experience and understanding of key challenges; Manage the website, taking responsibility for the design and delivery of all content; Create inspiring and commercially effective award entries; Organise photoshoots that capture projects in a way that reflects the brand stories; Manage social media strategy and platforms (including Instagram & LinkedIn) to build the brand, particularly relating to design influence and inspiration, point of view and our employer brand. Requirements: Ideal candidates for the Marketing Manager position should have a minimum of 4 years' experience within a similar role, ideally with a design or creative agency or from a retail background with an appreciation or design. Bachelor’s degree is required in Marketing, Comms, PR or related field; At least five (3-4) years of Marketing/Comms; Ideally existing media contacts within the design/creative/retail industry (consumer facing media contacts are a bonus); Excellent stakeholder manager and relationship builder; Excellent influencing skills; Knowledge of InDesign and basic Photoshop skills Salary: £33,000 - £43,000 per annum plus benefits including private healthcare Location: Leicester
