WORKING HOURS: Full Time & Part Time Day & Night Shifts available

THE COMPANY: Are you an experienced Carer or Senior Support Worker looking for a new challenge?

Our client operate a purpose built two storey home for 52 residents, specialising in nursing care with dementia and also complex mental health needs. The nursing home has the benefit of the picturesque views across extensive grounds within a enclosed garden surrounding the home away from the hustle and bustle of busy roads offering safety to the residents and peace of mind to their relatives.

The company are now looking to appoint a new Care Team Leader. There are Part Time and Full Time positions working over days or nights.

THE ROLE: As a Care Team Leader you will be based at the nursing home based in Braintree (commutable from Chelmsford, Colchester and surrounding areas) where you will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the home. Typical duties will vary but will consist of medication handling, perpetration and administration, writing and updating care plans, staff supervisions and appraisals as well as a range of other duties.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Care Team Leader role will need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Carer or Support Worker and will need to hold a minimum of an NVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in health & social care. You will need to be a caring and compassionate person who can also motivate and lead a team of staff and someone who has experience updating/writing care plans and candidates will need to live within commutable distance to Braintree (commutable from Chelmsford, Colchester and surrounding areas).

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Care Team Leader role in Braintree include :-

• Will need to have minimum of 2 years as a Carer or Support Worker
• Ideally hold a NVQ 2 or equivalent qualification related to Health & Social Care
• Must be willing and committed to obtaining an NVQ level 3 NVQ
• Must be a caring, empathetic and a compassionate person
• Ability to lead a team of staff essential
• Will need to be able to commute to Braintree (commutable from Chelmsford, Colchester and surrounding areas)
