Electronics Engineer - Space Industry
You have the opportunity to work as an Electronics Engineer on experimental hardware for the International Space Station at the global hub of inspirational technology and science - Sound interesting?
We have an excellent vacancy for an Electronics Engineer who's interested in joining an expanding team to work on ESA funded projects related to hardware development for life science experiments on orbital satellites and the International Space Station.
- 3 Years' of commercial experience within the Space Industry or Relevant (Aerospace, Defence).
- PCB Design experience.
- Engineering/Physics Master's Degree.
- ECSS knowledge.
- Space flight hardware knowledge (Preferred).
- Rack-mounted electrical test benches/control and monitoring system knowledge.
You'll be working across the full product development life cycle, working on projects from initial requirements gathering and specification to design/integration of electronics subsystems for experimental hardware. together with any related software and interfaces, in line with space engineering standards and practices.
You get an opportunity to liaise with a range of electronics, software, space systems engineers and scientists. Moreover, you have a chance to gain experience through involvement in a variety of projects and technical tasks, as well as commercial exposure to the space industry, to become a Systems Level Engineer Space Electronics Lead Designer or evolve into a Space Electronics Lead Designer.
