Copywriter needed to produce copy and content for complaints letters, and also some account management experience, and good stakeholder engagement skills. Can adapt and flex style to build relationships with internal project team and build relationships with teams that are working remotely.
Who knows how to deliver in a transformation and change environment. I'm looking for someone who can manage the production of a high-profile project, including managing stakeholders, tracking the project, housekeeping, some admin, and produce copy for the letters that go out to our customers. There's a real need for strong mediation and influencing skills, as the candidate may need to have some challenging conversations with legal and regs teams.
Produce long form copy, regulated offline comms, letters, articles, emails, guides
. Help across all aspects of our offline comms transformation & on ad-hoc copy briefs for editorial
. Discuss client core messages with internal stakeholders and understand the target audience.
. Produce copy to bring to life the brand tone of voice including empathy.
. Collaborate with different areas of the business to create copy that best communicates the British Gas brand, from compliance, legal, UX, dev teams, to third party agencies.
. Support with regular drop-in empathy labs where you'll review creative briefs and provide guidance to sign off work at key stages of the creative development process.
. Brainstorm ideas for ways to further the impact of the brand.
. High-level stakeholder engagement
. Account management - be the conduit between Editorial, and the Complaints team
. Good understanding of the overall marketing mix (audience, departments, media).
. Good creative judgement able to write in and judge creative work against an established brand identity.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
. Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for quality and consistency.
. Ability to take initiatives and trust own judgement, yet also able to escalate discrepancies and raise issues to management.
. Confident with brand visual identity and brand tone of voice to both brief and execute against for consistent delivery
