The Role
As the Healthcare Account Manager, you would be responsible for (in conjunction with the Sales & Services manager) driving revenue into the hospital through building effective and productive relationships with local patient referral sources.  These will include GP’s, physiotherapists and optometrists. As a Healthcare Account Manager, you will;
  • Gather and analyse information whilst maintaining knowledge and information systems, supporting business activities
  • Build multiple level relationships with referrers, consultants and key hospital staff including the sales and marketing team, senior management team (SMT) and other hospital colleagues.
  • Be required to help facilitate educational events for GP's and other Primary Care Professionals and undertake Insight analysis
  • Maintain regular contact with internal and external stake holders to keep existing referral stream and grow awareness of service provision.
  • Deliver effectively planned and targeted business development and marketing activities, meeting time, budget and quality targets to achieve specified objectives.
The Person
To succeed as a Healthcare Account Manager you will have;
  • Relevant experience in a business development/marketing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good level of IT literacy
  • Ability to travel to varying locations
  • Consultative selling skills, telephonic relationships and sales skills
  • A professional attitude and appearance
  • Flexibility in working hours to allow hosting of events
  • High attention to detail, the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing multiple tasks

Salary- £27,000 - £35,000
