We are looking for a motivated, competent H&S individual with extensive property experience to join the Facilities & Technical Services team in a new and exciting compliance role.

Reporting to the Senior Building Surveyor (Facilities & Maintenance), you will be responsible for delivering and developing a high quality, customer focused H&S property compliance service ensuring our statutory obligations are met for our corporate property assets. This will include (but not exhaustive) asbestos, electrical testing, gas safety, legionella, lift inspections etc to ensure our corporate assets are well managed and safe.

Our property portfolio is extensive and includes Theatres, Leisure Centres, Office buildings, Multi Storey Car Parks, Crematorium etc.

You should be able to demonstrate significant experience in developing and implementing compliance service programmes and maintain schedules of all property compliance matters.

A key area of your work will be helping with the management of asbestos across our built estate and advising our team of Building Surveyors and Engineers and building managers.

You will also be responsible for developing our in house Compliance Module of our Asset Management System and helping to establish procurement contracts for compliance testing ensuring best value and helping to manage suppliers effectively.

As well as having an asbestos management qualification, you will have experience of working within the construction and/or public sector or an equivalent multi-disciplinary business to ensure a statutory compliant property portfolio.

For further information and to apply for both roles please go to the Councils website at: https://ats-adurworthing.jobsgopublic.com/vacancies/list
