We are looking for an exceptional, experienced manager to develop and manage a legacy
organisation on behalf of Big Local DY10- Horsefair, Broadwaters and Greenhill Partnership. You
will attract funds to empower local community groups to grow and develop resilience.

You will be able to attract funds to empower local community groups to grow and develop
resilience and to ensure long term sustainability. You will be a confident networker and negotiator
who is able to build links with other agencies, developing new resources and upskilling community

Key duties;
  • Developing new resources and evaluating existing and future funding/legacy programmes
  • Building links with other groups and agencies
  • Raising and managing funds
  • Working with local community groups to upskill their bid writing
  • Identifying fund raising opportunities for local community groups
  • Researching, preparing for and writing funding applications
  • develop and manage a new legacy organisation
  • Recruit & support volunteers to help them acquire the skills to run a successful organisation
  • Attend occasional evening meetings
You will be experienced in developing, writing and implementing business plans, policies and
procedures and managing a budget. You will hold a Level 5/Degree Level qualification and be able
to work flexibly with some occasional evening and weekend work required. You will hold a Full UK
Driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

This post is funded for two years with the expectation the successful candidate will raise funds to
ensure the sustainability of this post long term. Full time hours (37 hours per week), flexible hours

You will be paid £30,000 - £40,000 per annum dependant on experience.
