Part-time FYi Study Assistant

Blackpool Sixth is an outstanding college specialising in 16-19 education, we have an exciting opportunity for a part-time FYi Study Assistant to join our team. Could you provide outstanding support to our students, helping them to raise their aspirations and enjoy the rewards of success? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and enthusiastic team as you take on a highly fulfilling role on a fixed-term basis for the academic year 2019/20. This post is 22.5 hours per week, term time only. 

Based in Learning Resources and Careers you will work closely with others in the department to support our students to achieve their ambitions. Specific library experience isn’t essential as we will give you full training.  Level 3 qualifications of a good standard will be essential and some experience of working with young people will be beneficial.  Strong communication skills are an absolute must, along with a proactive and flexible approach.
