SALARY & BENEFITS: circa £18,000 (9 month fixed contract) plus benefits
WORKING HOURS: Full Time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Emtelle UK Ltd is a world class provider of infrastructure solutions covering the telecommunications, electricity and water industries. Our Hawick and Jedburgh factories, located in the Scottish Borders, are centres of expertise for duct and sub duct, optical cable, air blown fibre and other extruded polymer products.

An exciting new opportunity exists for a new Customer Service Agent to become an integral part of the Customer Service team on a Nine Month Fixed Term Contract.

THE ROLE: As a Customer Service Agent you will be working in a fast-moving environment, the person appointed will be expected to operate and thrive within a busy sales environment. Duties will vary but you will predominantly be providing customer service support and assisting with general administration duties. Previous experience in a customer service role (face to face or in a contact centre) – would be highly desirable but not essential.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Customer Service Agent role will have previous experience providing customer service and will need to have excellent IT and typing skills. You should be someone who is well organised, has good communication skills as you will need to have a clear and polite telephone manner, with the ability also to follow written instructions and record clear notes. Problem solving and call handling experience is essential and you will need the ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels of the organisation. In addition candidates will need to possess the ability to demonstrate the following range of call management skills, Active listening, Questioning & Summarising, identifying needs and matching solutions and process to them and Opening and Closing the call.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Customer Service Agent role in Hawick :-

Previous experience providing excellent customer service
Polite and clear telephone manner essential
Must be highly self-motivated, disciplined and organised and also have good IT and typing skills
Candidates must live within commutable distance to Hawick, Scottish Boarders
