Are you an enthusiastic and experienced administrator who likes to overcome challenges? Do you have a proven aptitude for working methodically to ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures?

We are looking for a confident self-starter to provide responsive administrative service for the quality assurance processes in the School; including course and module records maintenance, committee servicing, validation and quality assurance activities in the School. 

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible and innovative in your approach to work and able to work to a high degree of accuracy.  A further key element of the role will be working with databases so excellent IT skills, along with experience of data input and the ability to interpret and follow guidelines are essential. Experience within Higher Education would be advantageous but is not essential.

As Course Data and Validations Administrator you will:

  • Develop and maintain effective systems and processes for gathering, recording and proactively reporting course/module related information and quality assurance processes, including validation processes, quality appraisals and subject reviews.
  • Act as Secretary to School Accreditation and Validation Panel, related validation events and other school committees ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Organise and deliver on activities in relation to external reporting, including accreditation submissions, external reporting and data returns.
  • Ensure effective communication with all key stakeholders, providing advice and guidance to colleagues within School to ensure consistency of practice and compliance.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate*:

  • Significant and recent experience of a busy administrative role in an office based environment.
  • Proven organisational skills, able to manage several projects and deliver confidently to deadlines.
  • Recent operational experience of using databases in an office environment, involving data input, extraction, checking and reporting.
  • A degree or equivalent training/work based experience and good standards of literacy and numeracy.
