Knowledge and Information Manager
My client is looking for a Knowledge and Information Manager (KIM) to be based in a Central London office, working for a public sector organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are interested in developing a company's records system and maintaining their electronic information.
As a Knowledge and Information Manager, you will develop the current information management procedure and work to embed this within the company's culture. You will also be responsible for implementing a review process of sensitive electronic records and updating existing information in line with current policy and legislation.
Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work for a company that collaborates with the Home Office. It is an exciting chance to be responsible for maintaining and developing large data sets. As a Knowledge and Information Manager, you will have the creative freedom to use your previous knowledge to produce innovate solutions whilst working on your own autonomous project, that focuses on data compliance and regulations.
This role will enable constant growth in line with new legislation and protocol, which is supported by a fantastic training budget. It offers the opportunity for an individual to have the responsibility for stakeholder engagement, as well as the opportunity to influence decision makers and report to a director level position.
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge of current legislation, including GDPR.
- Previous experience in information management, file classification and reviewing records.
- An understanding of risk management.
- High interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Previous experience in SharePoint and electronic document management.
