Our client a government department are looking for a Commercial Buyer on an initial 3 month contract based in Nottingham.
You will be responsible for providing commercial and 1st line contract management support for the IT Services and Transition Team in particular - Conducting dispute resolution activities, supporting the Commercial Lead Supporting requirements for contract variations and contract change notices. You will also be setting up and maintaining contract management tools.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial awareness specifically within Contract management. Proven experience in conducting activities across the procurement life cycle including running contract management. Experience in presenting complex analysis in a clear and insightful manner, in order to support senior stakeholders in decision making including report writing and dashboard creation activities. Ability to work well under pressure and to constrained timelines; manage time effectively with competing priorities.
Exposure to working within central government OR NHS would be advantageous.
